Carrot Cake

This cake is simple but special. It's for my son turning 9. He requested a carrot cake (inside).

I had no idea how to decorate the cake, since it was only for 6 kids. I just wanted something simple. Suddenly, the idea of carrot macarons popped up in my head. I thought that would be nice & cute. Something different.

I loved the final result.
