Chinese New Year Macarons 2013 ~ customised macarons

This year I decide to make macarons for chinese new year. Lately, I’ve felt in love making them so much, eventhough I’m not a big fan of them

I only make 3 flavours & they come in pack of 6 and 12.

The first ones are Orange Macarons with Cream Cheese & orange marmalade burst filling. They are very lovely. I actually get the filling recipe from dailydelicious.blogspot.com. I reduce the amount of the sugar.

Then I add the leaves & stems for orange fruit look.

Another flavour is White Chocolate Strawberry.

I make them in heart shape. They look more like Valentine’s Day Macarons maybe??

The last ones are Chinese Lantern Macarons with Mango Passionfruit filling.

I get inspired by a blog called Raspberi Cupcakes.

I add the chinese character “fu”, which means blessing.

Pretty happy with the results
