Donut Cake for Angela

My daughter, Angela, turned 5 last week. She wanted Zootopia theme for the party. Honestly, I don’t really like Zootopia cake.

She wanted a simple cake. I happened to google it and saw someone doing a similar cake. Since the big donut was the only thing I can relate to the sweets, I thought it would be nice to have donuts there.

This was my first time making this kind of cake with dripping effect on the side. It was a mess in the first trial. Lol

I had to scrape the sides (you can see the yellowish tint) and redo it.

I’m still happy with the outcome, though. I wanted to make the dripping part in white. Should have used royal icing instead of white chocolate ganache :p

The cake is Strawberry & Vanilla filled with Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream, coated with Strawberry Swiss Meringue Buttercream.
