Koi Fish Cake for Irene & Alex

Irene & Alex are turning 40. They wanted something unusual for their birthdays. After a while, they suggested koi fish. They believe that Koi brings luck.

They were very happy with those Koi toppers. I thought of making a simple cake with pearls & bubbles just so that the focus wouldn’t be distracted.

The cake is Lapis Surabaya with Raspberry Jam coated with Dark Choc Ganache.

The top tier is dummy cake.
