McQueen Cars Cake for Austin

My son, Austin, is turning 4 this year. He’s always been a cars fan since baby. Last year he had Angry Birds themed birthday, though (mom trying to escape from McQueen, since she always makes its cake). Not this year.

I’ve made the 3D version so many times. I guess I find it quite boring honestly I thought of something simple with a surprised cake.

So, here you go. Piston cup, McQueen topper & surprised cake.

The cake is a 4-layered vanilla & chocolate butter cake with Banana Cream Swiss Meringue Buttercream & coated with Dark Chocolate Ganache.
