Mermaid Cake for Savannah’s 4yo Birthday

This is a new customer. She gets to know me from my loyal customer. Since she already sees & tastes my cakes, she gets her chance now for her daughter.

It was quite fun to make those 10 toppers. They are basically Savannah & her 9 cousins. Her mum emailed me their pics so that I could make them with their details.

The cake is Chocolate Cake with Vanilla Swiss Meringue Buttercream.

I add some bubbles effect with Isomalt. I also play with the Isomalt pearls as cake borders.

Since they are very transparant, you can’t see them from afar. I just paint the top with silver.
