Ruffles, Beads & Peony Cake for Mum’s 60th Bday

My mother in law is turning 60 & the children just want to make her bday special. My sis in law & bro in law went to spent some night in Busselton without us, due to our 2 small kids & long journey. We decided to give it a miss

Peony is so popular these days & the ruffles off course. I thought I wanted to make something special for her, since it’d be her 60th bday.

This is the first time I make peony & I decide to make an opened one.

It’s a challenge for someone who’s not a flower fan I never take a course for this, just praying asking for God’s wisdom, googling for some tutorials…I can’t find the opened peony tutorial !!

Anyway, I’m pretty happy for the first trial.

My mum in law is so happy too. She’s never had decorated bday cake in her life. So this will be something that she’ll remember.

The cake is Chocolate Mudcake with Chocolate Mint Ganache.
