Ruffled Cake in Sage Green for a Dessert Table Photoshoot

This is a cake made for a photoshoot in collaboration with some other vendors (photos are to be updated soon).

The original design was to make the top tier with ruffles & ombre effect, but after finishing the bottom tier I found that it was too much already. I just left the top tier plain with some beads & lace.

The cake itself is from dummy.

Ruffles does take me ages to make. So now I know the expectation

Now I don’t have enough time & resource to make the flower I ended up using a plastic one. Too bad..but I’m going to make another gumpaste peony very soon !
